Here is a shot of my present set of VM68's. The top one is an oddball from the transition from the PMI-3 to the VM68. It is detailed elsewhere on this site as the $25 Ebay wonder. The center one is the present incarnation of the $20 Ebay wonder. I needed a regulator for another project so it is down to just one on it right now. It is my low pressure project gun. And at the bottom is my original Air America Terrorist VM68. In this pic it is sporting an original 1 piece Smart Parts barrel. And yes, if you couldn't tell by the pic, I like the backbottle setup on my VM's. ;)
This was my VMX. It has VM-68 internals in an aftermarket body. A good bit lighter than your average VM. This particular one has splash anodizing, a custom bolt, and Pro-Team hammer spring velocity adjuster. Instead of the long spring behind the bolt in the top section of the body it has an automag spring behind the hammer with a velocity adjuster behind it. Works pretty good. A real one of a kind paintgun that I am sure its new owner will appreciate. I'll keep the pics up for nostalgia reasons.
A close up of the splash anodizing this paintgun has. To be honest though, the pic doesn't do it justice.
This is the business end of my Air America VM, complete with a shortened stock barrel and an Intimidator noise enhancing device. Yeah, that bit on the end of the barrel makes it LOUDER.
Another shot of the VM. The expansion chamber on it about doubles the number of shots you get per tank. In this shot it is setup with a 14" aluminum barrel with a 'suppressor' on the end of it. It makes it a rather large paintgun - good for worrrying the squids in the staging area.
Yeah, I know . . . you already saw this pic. Well too bad! ;p
