I saw this magazine on the newsstand one day . . . I knew I had found something very cool. This is the cover, or whats left of it, of the first issue ever of Action Pursuit Games magazine. I found this in the summer of 1987 and immediately began to pester my friends.

This is an old school shot . . . I am wearing the boonie hat in the left side of the picture, holding my home customized Nightmare Model 68. (init fogey mode) Paintball sure has changed a lot over the years (end fogey mode)

A pic of me at the Skirmish Big Game 2002 - the shirt says NUKE AND PAVE

Here is another shot of the Nightmare, in stock trim. It is made of brass, which is why Brass Eagle called themselves, well, Brass Eagle. Later versions were aluminum. This particular Nightmare of mine can easily be converted to direct feed - as seen in the group pic above - I made an adapter out of plumbing supplies like so many of us did then. And I have a constant air setup for it if so desired. With the direct feed and bulk tank it looks very much the 'california style' from back then. Here are some links to other paintguns I have. Over the years I have accumulated a fair collection of paintguns. Note some of the paintguns below are no longer in my collection. I will occassionally update the top link of what I'll call my working collection. They are the paintguns that are ready to use and that I feel will be remaining in the collection

Every serious paintball player/hobbyist should have their own chronograph. They are not that expensive, especially when compared to what some folks pay for the latest gee-whiz electro-pneumatic paintguns or custom splash anodizing.
