"I've never seen a car that made more people so violently angry than the Neon."

"there are so many things in life that would be so much nicer if it weren't for the fans . . . Monty Python . . . Neons . . . "

those quotes are from one of the smartest mofos I’ve ever known

The Neon As Of June 2004

current stats on the car will be forthcoming shortly.

Some know my history, some don’t.  I am opinionated and I have been known to express those opinions strongly.

Excuse me for having an opinion that does not agree with yours. Denis Leary said it best when he said, "Life sucks, wear a fucking helmet."

Right Here! 2.3Mb's of insanity!

The Surgeon General never said anything about smoking the competition

I would suggest doing a right click-save as on the hyperlink above. Those with fast eyes will see a glimpse of Jerry Pitt briefly at the end of the vid.

If the .AVI does not work you can find a .MOV format
Right Here! 3Mb's of insanity!

This is a vid of me racing a turbo equipped Neon, and winning. All motor is fun
My all motor Neon defeating a turbo'd Neon

The race above where I run against and beat the turbo'd Neon was at Great Lakes Dragway in Wisconsin. A fair hike from Baltimore - the Neon drove out and back without a hitch. I put ~25,000 miles on the car in 2001, running pump gas on a 12.5:1 motor with no problems.

Below you will see scans of the article on my car that appeared in the Fall 2001 issue of Mopar Now (copyright 2001 by Harris Publications, Inc. - reproduced here with permission.)

I need to make a couple addendums about the article. First - my old Dart didn't have a 340. Secondly . . . ah, never mind . . . no need to re-ignite another stupid vendor war . . . LOL

These dyno pulls were done on the mobile dyno at Chryslers at Carlisle in July of 2001. The AM and PM is wrong on the sheets - the pulls were done midday. Not bad power for pump gas and in the boiling heat of an East coast humid summer day. The noise the car made attracted a huge crowd - many were dumbfounded at the power the car was putting down.

This pic is from Mopar Muscle magazine.

"There's an old saying in Detroit: 'Good, fast or cheap. Pick any two.' We refuse to accept that."
