It is a substantial rifle, which is a good thing given the power of its round. Shooting it is actually quite pleasant - not near as brutal as one would think. I would rather shoot it than a pump shotgun stoked with slugs, that is for sure. My Hungarian made M44 Mosin is more punishing even.
This rifle will be the catalyst to finally get me into reloading. Ammo for it is not exactly cheap. Good thing I found it to be nicely accurate right out the box. The Express sights are just as quick to use as I had read them to be.
